Spambot Prevention

One way is to ask new users to spell something backward. That's what I do. Other methods include picking out pictures or trying to read what you see in an image.

Anyway, some might ask new people to answer an easy question but too hard for spambots or maybe a harder question.

You can introduce CAPTCHA verification to avoid bot spammers. Or you can also restrict posting access to registered profiles with verified mail addresses.

Sometimes a guest doesn't know even the answer to a difficult question and answer arbitrally then he needs to contact you to lift the ban and this is if you ask someone how to register first time about something with relation to the forum.

That is a very good way in order to try and prevent them from being bots on teh forum because there are many people that are doing this with ai in order to try and reduce the amount of work that they need to do in order to get paid.

One of my forum spam prevention questions was what is the name of the forum. A lot of people found this question difficult to answer because the domain name and the forum name were different.

I've used CAPTCHA verification and it works very well in preventing spam bots. There was a time when I used to spell the name of the forum backwards. This is something spambots can never breach. I ensure to use email verification for account registration.
