True. But some of them don't seem so hard to get around and could be used in some trigonometric functions. Don't know why we aren't taught these or hinted at them tbh...

Yea it is scary. Trigonometry gets a little less fun when concepts beyond SOH CAH TOA are introduced

I didnt know all these existed even. I only knew about sine, cos, tan, cot, sec and cosec. Are they different names for the same concept?

The problem with mathematics these days is that its being taught in a completely mechanized way. There is less focus on research ultimately making students bookworms rather than academicians.
