When it comes to SEO, a lot of people are fixated only on keyword usage and backlinks. Well, these are importnt but you also need to work on other areas, quality content for instance.

SERP: Search Engine Result Page is the page displayed after someone performs a search on Google, Yahoo, etc.
Website Rank: The position of a website on the search engine result page for a given keyword, in a given location. The ranking of the website will be different for different keywords and in different locations.

Even though I don't have a website at the moment or even know how SEO work, but I must commend you for taking your time to research to come up with such a long and useful presentation on Terms used in SEO. I have really learnt so many things since I joined this forum. That is my opinion.

I'll suggest that threads like this are archived and shared on bizdustry social media pages or handles ( if they have any) to ensure that we can also gain visibility from the outside world.

It's not just having any how backlinks to your website but having high quality backlinks. It's better to have 5 quality backlinks than 1000 useless backlinks.
