Social media marketing is helping small scale business like mine nowadays, we are into baking and making snacks, before busuness is always dry and we don't have much customers but when we started advertising our cakes and other products on facebook, whatsapp and YouTube , our market started booming and we keeps getting new orders almost everyday.

I have noticed that small and medium scale businesses are doing their marketing in social media - paid ads or free posting. Businesses are lucky now that there is a platform with a big audience where they can do their online marketing. One owner of a grocery store by the gate of our village said that online marketing makes a difference. They gained new customers when they created their Facebook Page where they are posting not only their products but their activities like a sale or an arrival of a new product. It cannot be denied that social media is a big benefit to the economy.

Certain social media channels may be more productive than others depending on your target demographic. TikTok or Instagram, for example, may be a better alternative if you're targeting younger audiences, but LinkedIn may be a better choice if you're targeting professionals.
