The most important thing is for you to find a way to condition yourself to manage the way you are sitting down whenever you are working because it is something that is going to have an effect on you depending on how you are doing it. Constantly sitting for too long is very detrimental to your health generally which is why it is not encouraged by any medical professional.
I think that sitting down for long period is also bad for your pelvic floor as well. This is because you overburden your pelvic floor too much and this is something that I have noticed myself. I work for long hours and I sit for long hours. Pelvic issues could cause a lots of problems.
