We know the importance of niches when it comes to opening a YouTube channel. Niches could be very important and they may help us determine the kind of content we would like to upload. However, sometimes, you may be an expert in two different kinds of fields. Moreover, you may be an expert in many different fields as well. So, you may be considering opening a channel and upload content belonging to two or many different categories. So, is it possible?

It depends on what you can do as a YouTuber. Not everyone can run a YouTube channel and make it work. It depends on what niche you want to dig into. Sometimes you need to broaden your niche to encompass multiple niches in one. That's why some YouTubers focus on multiple subjects. Some combine gaming, commentary and more.

I think being open to more than just one subject gives you more of an opportunity to grow your audience, but a niche can also work in bringing who you want to your channel.

You can create two kinds of content, or let's say you can become two types of content creator, one, you evolve as a content creator and people will watch your videos because of you, and two, you create useful and informative content and people watch your video because of your content quality. If you want to evolve as a content creator, it does not matter what niche you work with, you will still have views.

From personal experience, running a YouTube channel of a multi-niche is possible but it may take a lot longer for you to get established and to be able to see any success.

Most of the time people are looking for YouTube channels to subscribe to that offer a niche that they are interested in so that they know they will always find those kinds of videos on that channel.
