Should you build your dream car or purchase it?

An average person would suggest simply buying your dream car, but from a petrolhead's perspective, we find that approach to be boring . Personally, I believe in building your own car, as it allows you to develop a deep connection with it and truly understand its capabilities. That's my viewpoint. What would you consider yourself doing on this matter?

To each their own. I have no knowledge or skill when it comes to making a car, so my only option is to pay someone to do it for me, or just buy the car myself. If I knew how to repair and build cars, I'd for sure build my own. But even then, sometimes you don't need to build your dream car when you can just buy it.

Also I wouldn't want to end up breaking anything as I put it together. I'm very paranoid I'd damage my car if I were to attempt to do any building/fixes myself. The only issue then is the cost of getting your car built, and I imagine that still costs quite a bit.

Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge or the technological know-how of building a car. No matter what my dream car would be, it is never going to be possible for me to build it on my own. This is the reason why I would have to purchase anything that have already been produced by other car companies as long as they meet my test and I can be able to afford them.

I can't build the car I want because it's all those type of cars seen in sci-fi movies or James Bond movies. They are not even sold in the open car market. I'm going to buy what car companies have made. Mercedes is my number favorite car company.

Automobile Engineers are people of relevance who make this decision. I would love to purchase my dream car instead of self building it. I have no prerequisite skill in this area, and there comes my choice.

I don't have any kind of skill to build my own car either so I would prefer to buy it if I have the opportunity, I don't know what the cost of building it on my own would be or if I would need extra labor to do it.

Exactly! Moreover I don't think any single individual can be able to have the whole technology that is needed for him to build a new car successfully without having a flaw in the car that is capable of killing the person in the car when he drives it.
