Should you add a blog to your store?

I wouldn't mind starting up a store to sell mystery boxes, and I was curious about just adding a blog to the store itself. Is that something you guys have done? This will be a site first to buy product, and the other part will be a blog talking about the business and maybe news on gaming and more. idk, I think it'd be fun.

Have you ever done this? I always added stores to my blogs, not the other way around.

It will be a very good idea but the person should be able to merge two businesses together. Selling something in the store is one business while managing the blog is another business.

I have never added a blog to my store as i don't own one currently but i feel adding a blog to one's store is a good idea. The blog can tell customers about the products in one's store.
