Something is not quite right if you're relying on non-native posting to stay alive. There is an otherness when people have quotas of x posts and y threads, blinking out when the cause is gone. If you want to have a soul then people need to post because they give a hoot and if there isn't a fundamentally engaging aspect or some top class consistent acting with that payment which sucks in real people, then paid posting isn't going to be the trick. I'll admit I'm a little biased against it from the start.
