Do you think members should be able to edit or delete their posts?

I let members edit but not delete. There's no reason to stop people fixing mistakes in their posts or removing things they realize they shouldn't have said. I don't allow deleting because it could really mess up a thread when posts are deleted, and it could be abused by members with thousands of posts that decide they don't like us.

Members shouldn't be able to delete their posts. If the original poster has been proved wrong and he decides to delete the question, the whole thread becomes pointless. This happens in a lot of other scenarios also!

Sometimes some people choose to edit their posts to delete the entire contents. This is the reason why I prefer to disable the edit feature automatically in say 10 to 15 mins after the posts have been made.

Don't delete, leave the edit feature. So what if they delete their post? That's why there is a quote button to catch people in the act of doing stupid. :D
