Bluehost is the best way to get a free domain. In addition to a domain name, you'll also need to host your website online. Bluehost ranks first on our list of the best web hosting providers. When you sign up for hosting with Bluehost, you'll get a free domain.

I don't think so, you can still do with the free hosting buy the free domain is a no, it won't look like an official domain which will cast your website as inferior or not serious. Just try to do the domain atleast.

It's absolutely okay to get a free domain as a beginner in web development , you can test freely and see for yourself what such services has to offer and what the types of panels are like , as long as you are doing it for educational purposes so you don't get your project leaked

Yes ofcourse,You need to take the free opportunities when you are newbie in making websites.Because you need to make adjustments just
Take the free domain and hosting first before making a hude project and get your desired domain and hosting for the clean and quality websites.

yes he should, for a newbie that everything is new to him, he should learn using free stuff, so once he's fully ready to set up his own website, he can buy it later, but since he has the opportunity to learn for free, he should go for it

Free web hosting is good. You are going to get the same things with paid hosting such as security, network brandwidth and port speed but there will be no extra features such as customer support. The bandwidth and the port speed will also be limited.
It is better to get a paid web hosting platform.
For a little correction. To don't get same offer from using any of the two. There are many disadvantages in using free website host.
Using free web host. There are many downsides. For example, the storage and bandwidth are limited. And some web script don't work properly. But paid web host offers many offers like SSL certificate, free SEO and many more

When I say free domain, I don't mean those TLD that you get free as an offer from web hosts, what I mean by free domain is the domain that you can register with free domain registry. Whwn I say free web host, I don't mean the web hosts that give you free hosting as a promotional offee or free for a limited time. When I say free web host I mean web hosts that are completely free. Now, back to my question. I have never owned a website and now I am interested to create my first website. I have zero knowledge on website creation and management. Therefore, for learning and gaining experience, is it a good idea to try free domain and free web hosting?
It is like creating a website then designing it, then when to try free domain and free web hosting you can see you're output goes online without spending money then it will motivate you to do more as its your passion.

Do not go for free domain, you need to get a paid domain. It boost your reach and also gives you more leverage. Relying on free domain is a lazy means of blogging. Check out a list of top blogs, you would hardly come across free ones. Free hosting also does not boost the reach your blog gets.

I do not advise you to use that because if you use a free domain in growing a business organisation online and people only knows the free domains it will be very difficult for you to switch to other one and beside the free domains may not have the capacity to handle a huge traffic.

Well you should go for it. Experience and Expertise are always required. Do whatever you want to do. Because if you would commit mistakes, you would get more knowledge. Try free domain and hosting first of all, and then when you realize that I should now buy it, then go and buy it. I did the same, that's why I'm talking about it.

Everything in life, it's important to start with easy baby steps, the. You grow by the day with practise, so you can start with a free web hosting services, just to try out what website creation is all about. Then when your skills have improved greatly you can decide to buy a web hosting plan any where.

There are some websites that provide free web hosting and domain for a specific time duration but that will not be much effective fir you because after their expiration there will be problem for you and you may lost your website.

Its a good way for a newbie to use Free Web Hosting to experience it, but eventually after testing it, and if they like they will subscribe to it for more features to be used on there side.
But in a newbie is not totally bad to use free web hosting

Getting free domain and hosting Isn't the big deal here but I think if you want to be professional with your products and services or even wants to get credit for what you do, you shouldn't even try out free domains and hosting because there are limited things you can do when it comes with getting all these things for free while planning to develop a website.

If you are a newbie in free domain hosting then you should first try making some website on free platforms like Godaddy. Once you get perfect , you can give 2-3 dollars for hosting it on the web and if you are really interested in it then you should take this opportunity.

I am sure its been said a million times, but I wouldn't waste my time, back in the day with blogspot it worked but now its so saturated that it is better to get your own domain and hosting, but you could always make the free one and forward to your own domain if you ever get any traffic to it. Hope this helps.

For learning and testing purpose, free domain and free hosting can be good. You may build a site on free domain and hosting and run for a couple of months. However, if you want to own a site for a longer period, you need a self hosted site. If you don't want to spend money, you mau try free hosted site.
it depends on what your priorities are. If you aim to build a website and use it for a long time, you need a paid domain and hosting. Thus, you should never waste your time on free domain and hosting. However, if you just want to see what it likes to build a website, learn website building without spending a dime, you may try free domain and hosting.

Sure, it is good to learn the twists and turns of hosting and domain management using low-cost domain and hosting. That way, you can make mistakes without fear of totally crushing your site. But after that, you need to buy premium domain if you wish to do serious business.

What if I build a site by using free domain and free hosting and run it for a some time and if I start gaining traction, I move to a premium domain and paid hosting? Will I lose traffic if I change the domain name?
