Many of us have gone to a site and been greeted with that 404 error page. Many of the 404 error pages tend to be plain with an error and giving information on what to do such as contact the site owner.

Something I have not seen and did wonder if people do this with their 404 error pages and that is Halloween-themed 404 error pages.

Have you ever created your own Halloween-themed 404 error page or even seen one used?

I love the idea of custom 404 pages.

Halloween-based 404s are a great idea, too.

As for ideas, maybe if you're good a graphic design, you could get a "monster hand" gripping out of the 0.

Something simple like that.

You could have a spider make some spider webs around the number "404" or have a spider spell out 404 page not found. That would be a cool 404 page.
