Selling imported goods?

I know thanks to inflation, the cost of imported goods has gone up but I think there is still room for smaller sellers to make a living running online shops selling items that were make elsewhere unbranded. Have you ever done something like this in recent years?

In my home country, it is not easy to sell imported goods. First of all, you need a license to import goods, secondly, you need a license to sell those imported goods. You also need to open LC in order to import goods. The process is not only tedious but also requires a lot of money. I have been often thinking about buying from China and selling in my home country but I have not done it yet because of lack of funds.
