Selling ad space?

Do you think selling ad-space on your website or other social media accounts for products or other sites is a good way to make money online? Have you seen success with this method?

I have in the past when I ran a game server back in 2012 and we get some ads on Revillution nowadays but not nearly as much as it once was. I think it could still be a viable source of income though. Have you ever purchased ad-space from a competitor's site or social media account?

It can be depending on the traffic. However, though, selling ads can be turn off to many viewers. In that case, there might be workable options to the situation. Myself, I have thought about adding a classified ads section.

This is certainly a good way of making money. If you have a website with a huge traffic or social site with a huge following you can get a lot of advertising offers and make good money. However, I have been able to sell my ad space only a few times
