Same Color

Only negative aspect that I can think of is that it would be a bit confusing for the user, since we're all used to see different colored usernames depending on which group you belong to.

However I don't see any reason why same exact color couldn't or shouldn't be used for all your staff members - it screams equality to me.

Exactly. In fact that was the entire full purpose of coloured usergroups to begin with was to identify the admins and moderators. Now it has become so popular you see it all the time with all sorts of groups such as VIP. If all staff are the same colour thats the most it can cause, some people might think mods are admins, and admins are mods. Only confusion is all. Nothing negative in any other way.
 
I think admins and moderators should have different colors. Personally I think admin should always be red and moderators should always be green.
