Ryse: Son of Rome - Really under-rated game

I remember when Ryse: Son of Rome dropped, it seemed to get mediocre reviews and hate for some reason. When I played it years after release, I really enjoyed it, especially the co-op arena mode or whatever it was. I forget, haven't played it since like 2015 or so. But I was reminded of it recently and wanted to play it. But my Xbox One is broken so can't play it. I don't think they released it on PC.

Anyway, who here has played it? I don't get the hate it got. I get it was an easy game, but I thought it was fun.
