Russia offers $110,000 to crack TOR

Apparently they want TOR beaten so they are offering a reward for someone to crack tor to enable them to see the identities of the users. I think the prize should have been much higher...

Not like Russia are trying to police the internet now is it? Oh wait, they are! Mad cuz peeps in Russia are using Tor to get around their dumb ass net rules now.

I agree $110 000 doesn't seem that much for something as crazy as this. Do you think anyone will be able to do it? Sounds kind of hard.

$110,000 isn't going to do it.

But this is bad news for privacy-conscious users. Hopefully, enough people invest and maintain TOR to keep it's head high up above its enemies.
