Do you do anything with staff that has recently retired?. I do because they have worked for the community on the site, they have made sure that the site is working correctly. It gives them a sort of valued and respectful around the place too. Another good thing about retired staff is that new members can go to them if they have a problem and don't like talking to current staff. There is lots of things you could do with retired staff! You could make a seperate sub-forum for them, where the retired staff are only allowed in there.

I would consider offering the V.I.P. membership I have on my forum to any retired staff. The V.I.P.'s get extra benefits that the regular members don't get. But that also depends on if that person leaves on good terms and what not.

The staff here are amazing and I've been so called "Retired" a few times. I was a former moderator here at WebsiteForums and due to complications in real like I had to give up my position, now I'm back and busy with the job of managing our moderation team here at WebsiteForums and ensuring things keep running smoothly. As far as I'm concerned they treated me well as I was retired.
