Requesting Feed Backs for Humane Hosting's Website and Status Page

Was this theme made strictly for mobile? On desktop, the organization of the theme just seems a bit odd.
Lets start off at the top.

  1. The top on mobile.
    1. Logo is not centered in the frame.
    2. Logo is way too small and the colors clash with the background.
  2. The carousel.
    1. I would use images for the background that revolve around hosting. A Gamecube gaming console has no correlation with website hosting.
    2. The welcome to HumaneHosting has a microphone background, again has no correlation with hosting.
  3. "We even got your data backed up on a best efforts basis! We will do our best to minimally holds a week worth of data done once a day."
This is completely wrong. I get what you are attempting to say, so it should be along the lines of:
"We do our very best to keep your data backed up. We hold your content backups for 1 week, with backups completed each day."
This is all I had time to review at the moment.

Thank you very much for the time so far. I am indeed very confused on why the website came out as such given it supposed to be "responsive". Do I have any chances of redirecting this design? Or should I try to claim my funds back and failing that get the credit card company involved?

If it is indeed "redirect able" here are some shots that may help to explain the scaling.

As for the images, I thought something was strange but I didn't know what to do about it. That for sure shouldn't be too hard to replace but I just not sure where I can get commercially friendly stock pictures on the internet.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for this theme?
There are so many pre-made themes available that are responsive and include all the stock photos that you need with the rights to use them.

This wasn't supposed to be theme. It was supposed to be my website and I paid just over 100 bucks for both items to be designed. As the person did the logo as well given I didn't have one.

Should I just trash it and dispute the charge as much as possible? If so who is reputable enough to give me a decent product at a REASONABLE budget such as the one I paid for this person?

I wouldn't trash it by any means. Just work with your author and tell them the things that need to be changed and or fixed. IF they refuse to work on it and correct what you don't like or as such, then and only then you can think about disputing or having someone else correct it for you.

status isn't even resolving for me.

That is happening for me too. I will leave some more time for the CNAME to resolve as I am assuming that why it's not working yet. As AT&T page said it doesn't even exists.

NO, of course not. Go back, tell them they made a mistake, tell them what it is, tell them you're not happy.

I don't think that would be a fair game but what USHost said below...

I will see what she said regarding all of this. I just feels like the product should had been of higher quality then it is now. Given that she had the information to make it to such standards (such as the pictures for example).

Usually when you are paying for these things, you will give 50% up front and then the remaining half when the project is completed and you are happy with the final revision.
Can you provide us the pictures you gave to the author of the project so we can compare what you requested versus what you were given?

It was paid in full as that how the platform works. So I was thinking it would be if anything mostly completed. As for the pictures I don't have any on hand so instead I used the drop down menu to spec out what industry the site needed to be produced for. At any rates I did notified her of what you said regarding the fixing and such. With that said I will has to see how she handle it.

Any platform that forced me to pay 100% up front is a platform I surely wouldn't be using for myself.
As @s3_gunzel asked, what platform did you purchase this from?

Edit: I read your post above.

I thought it was nothing more than the "Amazon" of human made products. I thought it just the matter of reading the reviews, providing the info and contents and that I would be on my "merry way".

In the TOS it says that you pay Fivver; that is, they'll hold it until it's marked complete, and then the seller gets the money on acceptance.

Oh wait: "Revenues are only made available for withdrawal from the Revenue page following a safety clearance period of 14 days after the order is marked as complete."

So you have 14 days to take issue.

It's similar to SEOClerks.

OHH so until I "accept" the order she doesn't see a cent AFTER another 14 days of doing so?

I'm assuming you have to accept the order; that makes sense. I don't use Fivver in favour of getting local businesses to do my stuff (and having coverage by the Australian Consumer Law).

I see, I thought it was just deposited into the "waiting hold" instantly after delivery. I must of forgotten that the TOS said that.

I just was kinda put off on how incorrect the product was more than it's needing tweaks done. But I guess as it was said, it just better to try to move on.
