Doesn't reply to all hosting providers and or to all who has a domain(s) but interesting that they can do that to you. Buying a new domain doesn't cost that much and with discounts and sales, you can get yourself a good three year deal for each domain. Over time however your domains renewable costs go up and up, does for me with one of the hosting providers that I'm with. Starting at $8 a year and after five years of owning a domain, it's now almost $18. My third renewal was $13 then following year it's gone up again. CRAZY

So I decided to go and change one of my domains to NameCheap :) and got it for three years and it's $6 cheaper (Domain transfer also) and so happy with that. Hopefully, they do not charge more as years go on. Last option is to change providers around every 5 years or less.

THoughts, have you got to pay more over time or you pay the same amount each time?

I once made a mistake that is costing me until now. I bought dot online domain because it was available for less than $1. I built website. I have been paying $32 for renewal since 5 years.

Yes it is common as most hosting sites offer free domain but once you buy renewal prices is always high so I always use Internet.BS which is quite reasonable domain register site which offers affordable domain.

My first domain was xyz, I registered for 99 cents. I had to pay $7 for second year renewal. 5 Years on I am paying $13. When I was new, i did a lot of mistakes. However, thesw days, I make sure I don't end up paying a lot of money for renewal.

Since I am thinking about buying a domain ans launching my website I am reading about domains. I have discovered that some domains cost little money for registration but renewal cost is really high. I would never consider buying such domains.

I didn't have the idea that domain name providers can increase their yearly renewal for the use of the domain name. I guess that is unfair. But since the dot companies are registered with the government perhaps there should be a law or guideline on the rental of the domain name otherwise the users will be at a disadvantage. When I was admin of our organization's website I have a contact person who renews our domain name so I was not aware of the cost.

But typically, renewing a traditional .com domain will be around $9.99 for the entire year. Some domain name registrars even offer an automatic renewal, so you'll never run the risk of your domain name expiring and falling into the wrong hands.

Business plans are very important and should be written by the owner of the business to better understand what they want to achieve with the best and how they can. Once this is done then I don't think the business should have any problem in the future.

I love the aspect of that automatic renewal but how is payment made? What about a situation where funds in my card is low and it's to for auto renewal without my knowledge. How would I go about it?

The cost to renew your domain name will depend upon a variety of factors. HostGator's domain renewal pricing will range from $0.95 to $39.95 per year, depending upon the domain name extension you choose. But typically, renewing a traditional .com domain will be around $9.99 for the entire year.

The average cost of a brand new domain will usually be anywhere from 10-12 anywhere, depending on the registrar you choose and the length of your registration agreement. Below you will learn why some domains are more valuable than others, the average cost to acquire a domain name, and some tips to help you get started.

By improving the quality of renewable cost data and analysis in the public domain, IRENA is working hard to provide up-to-date information on renewable energy technologies, their costs and cost-reduction potential to all

The price of a domain is mainly determined by the extension. You may find a dot com for $10, however, if you want to register dot online you need $32 and if you want dot io you need $35. The same domain may be differently priced according to registrars but there is only a slight difference. Some domains are really expensive.

The renewal fee at utmost domain name registrars is not more than $10. But there are some registers that have different price for the renewal of domain names. Take for instance, Nominalia we charge you $35 for a renewal of a domain name. the reason for this is that it is $1 for the first year but compulsory $35 for renewal. A registrar like Dynadot have a renewal fee as $10, it can even be cheaper if you make use of a coupon.

Renewing hosting and domains are never a fun process because a large number of companies like to only offer special offers to brand new users when they first join. With the two hosting companies I've joined, I don't have this problem as the cost will always be the same. However, with domains, I always tend to transfer them between companies and then renew them. It's a lot cheaper than always staying with one company.

The real price is the renewal. The business selling the domain is willing to eat some costs of their own in the hopes that they will make more money from you in renewals and other upselling (web site builders, privacy settings). You can also always search for coupons that lower the price of renewals as well.

I think the safest domain to buy is dot com. The cost for the first year is the same for the second year (unless you buy the domain using a coupon or discount code). Some domains cost $1-$2 for the first year, but the next year it will cost $30-$35

About 4 years ago, I got dot info domains for a deal. I paid just $1 for the domain. I think I renewed the domain for $10. Four years on, I will have to pay $17 to renew the domain. You should be very careful about choosing a domain name.

All domains names subscriptions are renewable and their cost differs from domain name to domain name, so I would advise anyone that want to buy a domain name to purchase a domain name from a cheap domain selling site like namecheap so that they can renew their domain name cheaply and easily.
