Received a copyright claim on something you own?

Was there ever a time where you got a copyright claim on something you fully own? Maybe it was a video or a piece of art you did and someone decided to false claim it. Did you ever get through that process and secure your rights back? Or were they able to cause you issues?

I have never received any kind of copyright claim. I always share something that I created or owned, or have permits to use it. I strictly avoid using things that I do not have the rights. I take copyrights violation very seriously.

There's been no real threats. It's just some fake thing on Facebook where people make threats, claiming to be someone important, maybe Facebook themselves. I really don't take it seriously and it was indeed something fake.

I went through the same thing when someone claimed a video I made, even though I owned it. I had to pull up proof, like the original files and when I posted it, then fight the claim through the platform. It took a bit, but I got my rights back.

No, this has not happened to me yet, but a lot of people have republished my content in their names and I had to file DMCA
