Ratings and reviews on your ecommerce store

Ratings and reviews for the products listed on your ecommerce store can make or break the product. A lot high rating and positive reviews will help the product sell, where as a lot of low ratings and bad reviews will halt the sale of the product. How do you get your customers to leave positive reviews and ratings?
I don't have an ecommerce website but I think the best way to make customers to leave a record is by displaying a pop up banner or a sticky banner.

If you are selling something ratings and reviews matter because people don't like to buy the product that does not have ratings and reviews, people also don't buy the products with a lot of negative reviews.
 
It is always good to deliver quality products even if it means increasing the price. Quality speaks volume. Also you would notice that ratings and review can trigger customers for your products or decrease their number.
 
No one wants to buy poorly rated products, people are not comfortable buying products that do not have any ratings, and when they see a product with a lot of positive ratings, it will boost their confidence to shop. If you are running an online business, make sure you have a lto of positve raitngs.
 
Reviews are very important when it comes to any ecommerce, especially if it's something like Amazon or Ebay. If you are referring to product reviews, or reviews of what you sell, that's usually a given. Most sites offer review options on the products they sell.

Now if it's a review on the business or the employer or owner, that's a bit different. But those too are important, because if you have bad reviews as a merchant or seller, you might have more problems than the bad reviews of your products.

It is always going to be in the best interest of your business to make sure that you have a feedback system enabled in your business.. This is so that you will find it easy to have your customers to give reviews and feedback about the products that they have already purchased from your website. When most of them are not pushed to give their reviews and feedback, they hardly say anything.
