In some cases, you have to spend more even for the completed building because damage can even occur them then it is something unpredictable and could happen anytime.

Properties that I prefer to have is land . Land is a fixed asset that can stay for long and still appreciate more than previous. I will go into building hostels, residential house, commercial stores, Warehouse.

Any house material is suspected to be damaged at any time then you can purchase a house and after a short time frame there is damage on material then insurance of such material must be transferred from the owner of the house to you which is not the case most people only transfer house property but do not transfer material insurance property.

My plan was to buy land in the rural area but that has changed now when my wife died. Our last agreement was we would not buy a property anymore. I am respecting her decision so even if I have the money now to buy a rural land then I won't. The stocks that I own is like testing me to put my money in stocks.

am pretty sure there must be a reason why you believe these places would experience appreciation in terms of price value, if I might ask, what is your reason for this? Is there a particular factor you consider?

The mention of "your town" is a good idea because that means you want to invest in your location. I don't have that idea because my plan of investment is in a rural town and not in our suburban town which is getting too crowded now. Maybe you see many opportunities in your town so I'd say it is a good one.

I think that the most important thing to look for in a property investment is the location. The location of the property is what determines the profitability of the business and all that.

It will strictly depends on the locations. A location with high possibility of development I will preferred to invest in lands , an already developed location will be suitable to invest in houses that's for me , I don't really know of others.
