There is an awesome mybb plugin which displays a dynamic post count depending on the user rank- I think that's awesome because it doesn't "lie" about post count.
Anti-spam mods (Akismet).

Newpoints - MyBB.
If i dont install newpoint when i start the forum, when i want to install it again it is really hard. As some member will say that it is not fair.

The anit psam plugin, is one thing I tend to install as soon as I install the forum software.
