The good thing about TLS and SSL (secure socket layer) is almost always your are not able to get a certificate for your site if you run some type of phishing scam. In rare cases people have had one but the majority of the time the protocol says "http" instead of "https" and is missing the "s".

You got to look for that lock next to the site to know it's a safe site to browse.

I was once trapped by a phishing site. I was looking for creating offshore bank account in the US. The site offered me to help. I paid $10, but a couple of days later I discovered it was scam. Back then I did not know I could file a dispute on paypal if a seller cheated.

Phishing sites are definitely website that are created to deceive people into parting with their valuable information that might be used to access any of their online account and I will say that such website are so criminal in nature.

Withe rise of mobile devices, internet users are also increasing. Which has created opportunities for scammers to build phishing sites and scam people.

Many income sites online this days are created in a dubious way. It isn't easy to earn money online, we need to be careful before starting with a site online in order to avoid being scammed.

I tell you mate! What I do now is double check any site I am visiting and when sites redirect, I check the new site very well.
Recently, I was to take a survey on survey time and for some reason in the course of answering the pre qualifying questions, the site redirected and I ended up spending an hour taking survey on the wrong site and ended up not paid.

Hmm, its sad that you spent an hour, and forfeited payment after such hard work exacted. Nothing baffles me when i work so hard and not receive a dime from it.

That's why we ought to cross check all the time in order not to fall in the wrong hands.

I know you've learned your lessons to always cross check in-case of redirecting.

Yeah! Learnt my lessons about the need to be cautious. As you have rightly stated, earning online has being infiltrated by so many scammers that if you are not careful, you can fall prey quite easily.

That's true bro, if you aren't careful prey is the second name of the person. That's why i don't rush in, to any site promising tons of money or just surfacing into online world.

Phishing sites are sites created to deceive people into giving sensitive information that could lead to stealing of data, passwords and important details meant to be guarded. These sites are mostly like clones of the original sites and if not vigilant, you can easily fall victim.

I once had a near experience of being duped when I found myself on such a site but thankfully at the last minute I discovered.

Have you ever had any experience with phishing sites and emails? Did you fall victim or were you able to detect on time?
I've once been a victim of a phishing site like that and it makes me lost my old Facebook just like that,so now is very add for me to clock on any link been sent to me online.

Wow, people really need to have more awareness on this matter then. There are alot of sites like this out there, and many people fall victim to it. Some even disguise the site as popular sites you already know

Yeah, especially those sites that need you to in put sensitive data such as your credit card details. Sites such as Payeer keeps sending out warnings because of this.

It is easy to avoid phishing sites just by typing the URL properly and by typing the whole URL by your own hand. Please at least check the URL two times before entering your personal information. This way you guys will be able to avoid phishing sites.

Recently, in my home country, someone created a phishing site impersonating a telecommunication company and scammed a lot of people who were trying to buy mobile data for cheap

This phishing site tries to steal your account password or other confidential information by tricking you into believing you're on a legitimate site. You could even land on a phishing site by mistyping a URL (web address).
