If you are running any form of business that involves the sale or adoption of pets, what kind of rules and regulations are there? I imagine all animals need to be vaccinated, need to be spayed and or neutered, etc. And I imagine you need to have a license to care for certain animals and to even run a pet shop. You also might need to be certified in pet care.
What are the rules most pet shops need to follow? I know most of the time it's better to adopt from shelters and the pound. I get why people are against pet shops though, we should look to adopt at shelters first. But I get if you want a certain pet, a shelter isn't always going to have it.
