Paying Staff Members

Advertisement Placeholder
It depends on the arrangement you have with your staff members on whether they are going to be paid or they are doing the job voluntarily and in if you agree to pay them then it is something you should do. But it is not usually advisable for new forums to have any paying plans for their staff members.

Most people prefer getting paid in cash It's no surprise. Some people even do it for free. I think that staff members in forums should get a reasonable amount of money because, without them, the forum won't be as good.

Staff members are typically expected to perform various tasks and responsibilities to earn their salary or compensation. Some of the tasks are, web development and design, content management, technical maintenance, user support and communication, analytics and reporting.

This is the reason why most forum owners try as much as possible to monetize their community so that they can be generating a bit of fund they will use to pay their staff members who will also contribute to the growth of the community.

I don't have any staff on my forums, but when I had staff I was paying real cash (paid via PayPal or crypto). I was not paying a lot of money but I was trying to compensate my staff for what they did on my forums. I am a paid staff on multiple forums and I am also a volunteer on multiple platforms.

The most important thing for you to do when it comes to managing your forum or website is to make sure that you cut down cost as much as possible even when you have to pay your staff, you have to do it in a way that you're not spending so much than you are making from your platform.
