I think working part time is more profitable than working full time. A full time work would take the whole of your creative time while with a part time work, you can be doing two or three things combined together.

Do you prefer part time or full time work?

My friend is working as a phonics teacher. He does part time in about four schools. His monthly pay is 4 times the salary of a full time teacher in any of the schools he is teaching.

Full-time work will also entitle you to a lot of benefits like retirement funds, pension plans, insurance, allowances, etc. It is really difficult to get part-time work on a regular basis.

I am working full-time. My salary is good compared to my earnings online. I receive bonuses and benefits. I work in a government firm.

I also prefer part time jobs because it allows you to work on two or three jobs and also it helps you to increase your income and experience.

I also prefer part-time jobs and dedicate the other free time to earn money in other ways or dedicate it to hobbies among others, I think it gives you more time to do and think about other projects.

Both have their pros and cons and in a full time job you can earn more and have stable income which is not guaranteed in part time job.

Do the maths. A full time teacher earns 30k as monthly salary while the part time teachers earns 12k per school. The part time teacher runs 4 schools. The part time teacher's pay is still higher than the full time teacher's pay.

I have been thinking to find a part-time job so I can have more earnings to save and spend but my present job isn't allowing me to go for a part-time job

It is also good to have a part-time job, especially this time when prices of commodities are getting higher every day. One job is not enough to survive.

Why do you think everyone will be a teacher? I was giving my views generally and it's easier said then done and not everyone will be able to work on different part time jobs.

I was just giving an example. I never said everyone should be a teacher. The points? A part time worker who combines several jobs earns more than any full time worker in the same industry.

I prefer to have a full-time job because this way I can know what I will earn at the end of the month and these are stable jobs but in case of part-time stability may not be present but yes earnings may be higher in part time job

It is good to have a full-time job-regular so that during retirement there are benefits to receive like lifetime pension, insurance, and Medicare. We can do side hustles though.

Life is beyond pension, insurance and Medicare. Money rules all. If a person has a job that would make him very rich and the job is not pensionable, should the person turn it down for a lower pensionable job? The wealth built can make the person afford to pay for all those things without stress.

That surely happens when one lives on interest. We better save so that during old age, we would live on interest and not from the support of the children. Oldies become a burden for children.

Not everyone will earn more with a part time job but there are specialists like doctors who can work on different part time jobs and more as compared to one job

It is also good to have a part-time job. There is always something to wait for. I work full-time at a university and part-time at a certain college. If having spare time, I visit a forum site to do some posting. The feeling is so good if having a side hustle.

I have no experience working on a part-time job but as per the experience shared by other users, part-time is better as you can earn more if you are skilled

I did have a part-time job and the pay was good. I was paid P400 pesos per hour teaching, I was given 5 subjects to teach Math and I was so glad, but I no longer have load in that college because of politics. The mayor was the opponent of my cousin. He learned about it, so I do not have a part-time job. But I am glad to have an online business in a forum.
