Paid posters stick around?

Advertisement Placeholder
I have in the past.

I've stuck around on communities that I have done post exchanges with. And the same has happened for me.

Back when paid posting services were available like Post Loop, I also had that happen a few times when I ran Another Admin Forum.

I never had any luck keeping paid posters around. Granted, I never regarded them as regular members to begin with and only utilize paid posters when communities were at an all-time low. And to this day I still stand by that being their best usage, a temporary boost inactivity for a essentially dead community to help spark some life back into the posting of the organic members.

Granted I do have some members that do perform paid postings on other sites and they are good members on my own communities. It does seem like paid posters are often heavy forum users, so it's not uncommon to see them as organic members of communities. I think a lot of people just forget that even heavy forum users still want to be part of communities that are a niche that they enjoy.

I think it typically depends on your niche.

If it's a niche they like or even a community that they like to be a part of, then they'd probably stick around.

But if they're there just to do the job and jump - that's probably all you'll get.
