Organic backlinks is when you get backlinks voluntarily. This will happen when your site has a lot of traffic, has a high alexa rank, ranks high on search engines, and is an authority site. Getting organic backlinks is quite difficult but if you manage to get even few organic backlinks, it will help your site rank high on search engines.

I do not trust Alexa rank because even visitors that are coming from the traffic exchanges and also have high Alexa rank, I trust google analytics because they have mechanisms and bots to differentiate true and fake visitors.

I always considered organic ones to be those that people will share and distribute for you on social media because they enjoy the content. I used to have tons of this but not so much anymore. Google changed a lot in 2020 and even more in 2021.

How does one get these backlinks? Yeah Google is always changing the rules. Grr lol.
