OpenOffice or LibreOffice

Does anyone you either of them or have you tried either of them? Out of the two I like libreoffice- but currently nothing beats Word.

Yeah I agree with sam. Libre is better!
Its the one that comes by default in ubuntu right?
Btw for excel sheets I use Gnumeric!

I don't know whether it's default? Is it? I suppose it is, it was pretty good but it does freeze sometimes.

OpenOffice has a more mainstream appeal to it - but just trying Libre, i feel the interface rocks and really easy to just get on it - OpenO. seems more of the Notepad for a few adjustments, but it seems like a good choice to check them both out - everyone has different preferences.
