Personal data from 2.9 billion people were leaked

A class action lawsuit brought against background check company National Public Data (also known as Jerico Pictures) alleges the personal information of 2.9 billion individuals has made its way onto the dark web via a data breach.

This is why I give as little info as possible to sites. AT&T leaked all my info so I had to freeze my credit.

I wonder if I was affected by this. I got lots of spam calls last week, and a few this week. It's annoying and terrible that these companies get hacked, but everyone should be mindful of what information you share online.
