I pretty much use google adwords keyword tracker to find keywords related to my niche. And thats basically it.
What are your strategies?

Note: If you are also using adwords keyword tool here is a tip I read somewhere. If you find a keyword like "shrink partition", Don't simply write a post on "How to Shrink Partition" and include all the operating version methods in that post. Instead writing one post for each an every operating system version will get you more posts. As the number of posts increase google will start to like your website more. Then the traffic will also increase. Now that you have related posts to one another, the bounce rate will reduce! What do you think? I think this is pretty damn clever. Obviously many of you might have already knew this.

I like your tip! I've never written for keywords- But I find writing articles to be tiresome because for me and article has to be near perfect. I suppose I'd be using the keyword tool. I'd look at my site, which would be in a particular niche, and say "What keywords fit into this niche?" and then write on those.
