Note option for users (Notes only users who make them can see)

Do you like to includes a notes section for your users? I ask because there was a site where they allowed you to add notes on specific users, but only you would see those notes. They're used as a sort of way to remember things. I know Discord has a notes function for users. The note will only be visible to you. Do you like having this feature on your site/forum?

I am not sure if this feature is enabled on the forums I visit regularly, I have not added this feature on my forum as well. I do not see why this should be included in a forum, especially for normal users. However, I believe this feature can come in handy for the staff on the forum. Instead of creating threads on certain users in the staff section, it would be good if the staff can write notes privately.

Over the years that I've been making use of forums, I'm not sure I've seen something like this being used on that platform but I have certainly seen it on Discord and I believe that it is something very interesting to make use of, it is a very good feature.

Thanks! That can be a handy feature. I find it quite useful on platforms like Discord. It allows me to jot down important details or reminders about specific users without anyone else seeing them. It's like having my own private memory bank. Whether it's for keeping track of conversations or simply remembering someone's preferences, notes can be a helpful tool. However, I still use simple online notes sometimes. I like that I can do it anonymously.

It is indeed a very handful feature on platform like Discord because I recently got to make use of it and I was very impressed with how useful it is when it comes to being able to add notes to users that you are trying to reach out to using the platform. Unfortunately, it's not available on forums.
