If all forum software ceases to continue - what will be your next step?

Will you give up completely?

Will you try to move to a different community platforms such as Circle, Mighty Network, or even Facebook Groups?

What would you next step if forum software was over and no other software was updated anymore.

I've never even heard of Circle or Mighty Network!

I suppose I would go to Facebook Groups even though they annoy me. I prefer to have organization.

I can't say I put too much thought into this as I never seen it as a possibly, but I have actually worried about government regulation cracking down on hobby forums and making laws and regulations that admins need teams to enforce. However, that is a topic for another day.

For this, I'd probably move towards a platform like Discord or such.

For me... since my primary concern is "putting out data", I'd simply start a blog. I never started my forums with the intent for others to join... it was because they were a platform I was comfortable with, and the fact that others could come over and play was just a benefit.

I think a lot of people would go to blogging.

I'm already a blogger, and I love to write, so it would be easy for me.

I'd just focus on adding interactive features to the blog.
