📝 Content Marketing Newsletters With Invision Community

Was wondering if anyone who runs an Invision Community has set up a newsletter that goes through their forums. Do you use an integration like SendGrid to deliver the newsletter?

- an automated newsletter?
- a manual newsletter?
- or the system like Sendgrid or Amazon SES

One that can be made using the Pages feature that would be posted on the site and sent out to subscribers. Thinking my question would be, could I use IC as a newsletter base or, would it be more prudent to go with an outside source for this?

This isn't exactly what you want, but it's very close.

IPS has a Bulk Mail feature. It allows you to choose criteria of members that you'd like to send a mailer, and if you simply leave all of the criteria filters empty, you would send to everyone.

Write up your newsletter first in Pages.

Then go into the ACP, start your Bulk Mail, copy and paste the message into the editor, and hit send.

Invision Community specifically has the bulk mail feature, which is more than sufficient for manually written newsletters.
