Let's first understand the concept of Multi-niche and single niche.
Multi-niche means you publish articles on various topics, for example, you publish travel guides, health tips, making money, parenting, homemaking, gardening, etc. in one blog or website. Single niche means, instead of publishing on different topics, you focus on one single topic, for example, you either publish travel related articles or business-related articles, you do not publish on both topics.
In the past, it was believed that multi-niche websites received more traffic compared to single traffic as they could attract people with various interests. For example, if the website had content on travel, business, health, etc., people who had an interest in these topics would visit the website. However, in the case of a single niche, only the people interested in that niche would visit the site.
However, these days, it is believed that a single niche is better because it establishes the website as an authority on that topic. The logic given here is why would a gamer visit a website that publishes articles on other topics along with gaming, he would always visit the website that is entirely focused on the topic. The same thing happens with other topics in a multi-niche website.
What's your say?

Of course a multi-niche website will get more views and visit and this will hasten you approval and eventually increase you prospect of monetizing your site, moreso, as the number of visits surges, more people will want to advertise with you.

Moreover, a single niche website will be a "go-to" site for the subject it deals on, and soon enough it will become an authentic voice on the subject the site carries.

One of the major problems I see with multi niche websites is ranking on search engines. Since the website has articles on many topics, it might not have focused keywords. The articles might use different keywords, but the site does not have focused keywords. When there are no focus keywords, getting a good rank on search engines might be difficult. However, this is just my assumption.

Yes we have started seeing more of single niche websites because websites want to be relevant and optimize their search engine but multi niche provides diverse information so viewers can get multiple source of information

Multi niche blogs require a whole lot of effort than single niche blogs. Concerning SEO, it would be better to stay in a niche and become a force therein rather than pushing your self unnecessarily into copying and pasting as it demands with multi niche blogs. It is better you should focus on a niche, you would know so much in it in little or no time since your attention would not be divided.

I think multi niche website will be more better than single niche website because most people do not look for just option but they are looking for various options that can stretch their imaginations.

I have single niche websites as well as multi niche websites. I don't think the niche has to do anything in terms of generating traffic because every niche can get traffic. The main point in generating traffic is SEO. If you have done SEO properly, you can pretty much get traffic on any kind of website.

The needs has arise in that some persons would not want to be that general in their content provision,so that they can be delivering quality content with value. And this will make them have commited followers.

Single niche brings a lot of traffic more than multi-niche. A single niche establishes and speak authority unlike a multi niche that lacks coherence.

Multiple niches will get more traffic because you can attract all sorts of people, however, in order to receive traffic your content needs to be ranked high on Google and also promote on facebook and twitter
