Moderation system

Advertisement Placeholder
Since I have a general discussion forum, I like to be pretty flexible and chilled with my members. I don't want to be too strict so depending on the offence, I will just give them a warning or if it's very serious then give them a permanent ban.

I think an official moderation system is good as a foundation but flexibility is also important. We don't have an official moderation system at Chillerr at the moment, perhaps we will once we're a little bigger. There aren't any trouble makers at Chillerr yet. :D

Having a moderation system is very important because there is always people that will try to spam the site with messages that are not worthy of a reward.

I love to have default Moderation option as it is suit with all things which we needs but if you want to you can have different settings which works for you specially when you have big team work with you.

Having a big team that is working for you may seem like a good idea in terms of the workload however at the same time it can be hard to manage as well as you have to keep track of more people.

I have very relaxed moderation on my website. Would warn members if they post inappropriate posting and would delete the posts and ban the user if they post abusive, nudity, or any other disturbing posts.

This seems to cover everything that needs to be covered in a forum actually so i think that you are taking the right approach when it comes to moderation.

For breaking clearly understood rules such as copying someone else content, threatening other members, spamming, always try to become strict especially if this is from older members. I can be relatively soft for new members. For grave mistakes, I do not give them second chance.
