MIDI Drums?

Hello all. I am a keyboardist by training and experience and have done quite a bit of work with synthesizers, programming, etc. I am interesting in getting started with MIDI percussion instruments, so I have just started researching the topic. If anyone is so experiences and would like to offer some tips and tricks, I am all ears.
