Microsoft has won their battle with the FTC and kind of Sony too, to buy Activision Blizzard. There has been an ongoing battle from Sony to stop Microsoft from making this purchase, so much so that the FTC got involved to stop it. But now it looks like they can buy Activision Blizzard, and take IPs like Call of Duty, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Sekiro, Diablo, World of Warcraft, and more. Time will tell if this purchase was good for the games industry, or it's bad and destroys it.

I know Microsoft was going to win one battle looking at how they went with the whole purchase of Activision Blizzard. Sony is just making noise because if they had the opportunity to buy Activision Blizzard, they would have gone for it. I understand why they were fight Microsoft over buying Activision Blizzard. Microsoft is trying to have monopoly in the gaming industry and Sony don't want it happening.

It's just one of the many battles I'm sure they will have. But so far this sale is going to go through. I just don't know when it will be 100% official.
