Apparently microsoft has been using an automated program to send takedown requests to google and recently it did something terrible. It send a few takedown requests to google with pages containing the number "45".

Pages from BBC, Wikipedia, Techcrunch and a lot more websites were in this request. But many of these websites are on the approved list of google and the takedown actually didn't happen.

BBC reported:
However, other sites like AMC Theatres and RealClearPolitics, who were also wrongly accused, had pages taken off Google search results.
