Managers Picking on Students for College Education

I heard this story of this guy whose manager picked on him at an interview for some job because the college education was listed. Well, I thought of a good comeback: "Oh so you weren't smart enough to make it? " Well, that would have trashed that interview, for sure!

I'm afraid I would have ended the interview and went somewhere else.

If you're getting picked on or picked at during the interview by someone who is supposed to be a leader, then my guess is that you're going to have a really crappy experience working for that company.

My friend's interviewer was saying "He went to the school of hard knocks", something like that.

I would have left immediately if the hiring manager was acting like this. That manager is probably disrespectful to his employees, and I bet he has a high turnover rate.

I like to kid and joke around, but a lot of people are jealous of education. Well, recently I got teased over that also, but I laughed it off, but I didn't really get his meaning until a few days later.

The reason you laugh it off was that you understood where he was heading to. It's never nice to joke about things that look disrespectful in the eyes of people looking up to you.
