Making websites for family and friends

I made quite a few websites for some of my friends and I did all those for free. One friend gave me some cash, but I did not ask for it.

How much cash?

I make about $20 an hour web designing. My first paycheck was $400 for a single site.

However, my other friends did not pay me. They just thanked me, which is fine with me.

I would create your own web design website, and put it in the footer as well.

Yes, I am currently in charge of managing their websites too. I am basically a volunteer.

Do you have an ad on there, so you make any revenue?

No, I have not placed any ad there and I am not planning to do either.

My friend pays for domain and hosting.

Why would you want to pay for domain and hosting? These two can cost you over $50 yearly.

Because it's for family - I'm generous with my money to family and friends. I can always earn more money so I'm not bothered about sharing it.
