Site Management Making Image Filled Areas of the Forum for Members Only

This idea might save resources as visitors won't be able to use them. However. that doesn't mean you have to charge money for members, though. It's just a method for saving resources. What is another idea? Well, one idea is linking the images from somewhere else.

Would this be similar to how Adobe has their stock photos set up? You only get a small selection of free stock photos and you can only download them when you're logged in. You unlock all of them by paying a monthly fee. You could do this if you have exclusive artwork posted on your forum, maybe set up a private gallery for only a specific member group.

I would argue a better approach is to build a scalable solution where users accept post images, such as Amazon Web Services. Most forums (which are discussion based) don't actually post a lot of images, relative to the amount of discussions.
