While I appreciate the initial concept of macOS offering an all-in-one solution that minimized the need for additional software costs, the system's evolution hasn't aligned with this philosophy. Apple seems to have shifted towards a profit-driven model, with a growing tendency to charge extra for what once were included features.

When comparing Linux and Windows, both offer high levels of customization, putting control into the hands of the user. Linux excels at user-centric design, prioritizing individual goals and motivations. However, it often falls short in terms of software compatibility, particularly with gaming, which can hamper the user experience. Despite its flaws, Windows gets my endorsement due to its broader software support and overall user-friendly ecosystem, although this comes with the need for a deeper understanding of the OS to unlock its full potential.
