Lying

This is quite a minor topic compared to our other debate topics, but what is your opinion on lying? Can lying be justified if it is for the greater good or is lying just as bad in any situation?

I believe lying is justified if saving a life, something like that. I think the Bible would agree with that also - cause the "law of love overrules the rules".

Anyway, my opinion on lying, generally, is that it's evil and very destructive. However, though, it can happen because people are too bossy - so people lie to get them off their back.
