Lesser Known National Domain Extensions

This one for Haiti is 101 USD a year. However, anyone can register. Would you register such a domain?

The main reason anyone buys a ccTLD that isn't for that country is if they're doing something like a namehack with it, the same way Bit.ly makes use of Libya's national TLD. Of course, Anguilla has seen a big uptick in the last year or so (theirs is .ai), British Indian Ocean Territory has always done well out of the tech sector (theirs is .io), and Somalia did well a few years ago (theirs is .so which got used for social media shorteners a lot)

.ht is a bit limited - unless you're in the market for a name that ends in ht, some kind of -ight word maybe. But it's a bit obtuse even for a namehack.

I did at one point look at getting a .bb for a forum software, but Barbados is a bit twitchy - I did find a local company that would do the deed for me, but $300/year was more than I wanted to pay.
