How did you guys learn how to properly manage a website?

I did all of it mostly by trial and error. I just learnt on the go and caught everything quite hatefully. Thankfully. I didn't have any teachers and I was too lazy to read up on it. I'm a hands on learner and this way worked for me!

I learned by messing up . Also by watching other people mess up. It eventually became common sense what to do when. However, it was something that took some getting use to.
