Do you think landing pages are good for a website?

While there are many uses for a landing page, the fundamental use of it is to convey the theme of the site that you are going to visit. I believe that this has to be done through the domain name and the added appendage of landing pages are not in the best interest of a forum.

I think landing pages are mostly used for a sales products and services. That's you can try to use it to introduce your products and services to your customer. But if you already have a well built in website theirs no need for landing pages

I think landing pages did a good run of making itself a trend in the past few years but now the fire has died out. Its only good now.to display your terms and conditions that a VISITOR has to agree to before browsing your website.

That too, if ots absolutely necessary.

It all depends on the project what your goal is. If your goal is to increase sales or advertise a new product, a landing page is the best choice. Also making a landing page is easy and fast. You can buy a landing page generator and make a page. I worked for 1 year on making a landing page I made 5 landing pages in 1 day

Unless yours is a multi site website, a company website, or a business website, I don't think using a landing page can be considered good. There is no need to use landing page for a blog, forum, or a content site. By the way, I don't like landing pages. When I visit a website, I want to see everything on the first page.
