Java Was A Good Language For Me

Four days ago I actually told my cousin that If he masters Java, it will be trivial to learn another language especially if it's similar or builds on top of the Java toolchain, but what will matter is that he will know how to program in general and how to solve problems.

Many programmers started with Java. It is a building block to other languages.

Java is the first step and if anyone that wants to make it higher, the first step is Java. Java have helped so far in general and that the reason that coaches will first ask a trainee to learn Java before proceeding up.

Java to me have always seemed like the basic core language that you have to learn if you're interested in starting out anything as a programmer. I haven't dabbled into programming yet but whenever I want to, I'm getting to learn Java first.

I never really had the interest to learn Java, but maybe one day I will teach myself the language. The syntax IIRC is similar to C#, which I know a little bit since I took a college course once.

Unfortunately, they didn't include any programming courses for me when I was still in the university. Maybe it was because of my course - Mass Communication that made it impossible for use to touch anything on programming. I really wish we did.
